Last night’s Guernsey developer group meeting

Last night I attended my first Guernsey Developer ‘User’ Group meeting (I believe it was the second such meeting – I missed the first).

Filippo gave an interesting talk on the Steve and Adrian).

The forums are open and we’re discussing what could be interesting topics for future presentations. I quite like these short presentations (and similarly screen casts) as they let you get a real feel for what a product can do much more quickly than wading through the docs, installer and samples would allow.

If you’re a developer in Guernsey and actually interested in programming rather than seeing it as a 9-to-5 chore then why weren’t you there?

Yep, was good to see a room full of developers and to hear about tools that are more relevant to us, rather than the usual management / security stuff we tend to get at BCS meetings. I volunteered to help and Filippo asked me to write the review on the site, and I see you’ve pitched in on the forums too. Hope everyone else joins in too.
