I designed this font in 2019 when I saw Andy McDermott had written a text adventure set in France called Resistance that was using the built-in ROM font and created this from scratch to give it a hand-written French feel.
It was not used in the game - I hope because he couldn’t find enough spare bytes as he had 727 bytes left and a RAW Spectrum font is 768 bytes.
The font works well for titles, lists, and long runs of text and I’d love to see it finally get a home in a text adventure.
I created this font in 2018 after deciding to try once again with hand-written script fonts - one of the styles I’ve struggled with.

It works quite well for large runs of text and is quite suitable for text adventure games that tell an informal story.
This font was created in 2006 as a resource for the BASIN development tool.
This was my first proper attempt at a script font in 8x8 having tried many times in the 80s before giving up on the idea altogether. The name comes from an episode of “Black Adder” for no reason other than the BASIN was written by Paul Dunn.

I created this font in 2018 thinking about the old flowing chrome letters of 60s refrigerators. It breaks the horizontal line a little bit to make it more practical.
This font works great for titles and lists but also can work quite well for descriptions and prose too if you want an italic hand that is a bit more regular than many scripts.
