I designed this font some time back in the 90s using Artist II as a tribute to the font used by Datel Electronics on their products and ads (they used something less extreme by the time they became a 16-bit Action Replay only shop).
I subsequently found out the font is STOP created in 1971 by Italian type designer Aldo Novares. There is quite a variance as I only had the letters in Datel’s ads to go by and even then it was a bit of a liberal interpretation.
A second “Replay” variant was added in 2019.
The font works well for titles and is also usable for small runs of text/lists.

I created this font around 2006 for the BASIN package.
The inspiration - and name - come from the bold bubbly fonts of 1970’s disco and album covers.
It works for titles and surprisingly well for large runs of text like adventure games and the world definitely needs more games set in the 70s!
I designed this font in 2005 with the unoriginal name Top Heavy Bold. It is re-released here under the name Crews.
It is a very bold font with a strong weight that is focused on the top of the glyph.
It works well for titles, lists, and paragraphs full of descriptive text and prose.
I created this font as part of the BASIN package around 2006 to see just how bold you could go in an 8x8 grid while still making it readable.
The original release of this font had slightly taller upper-case with the lower-case shifted up one pixel to allow a small descender. I don’t feel it really worked very well and so the alphas have been reduced one pixel in height in this release to make it more readable.
The font is still quite readable despite the chunky bold nature and not harsh with friendly bubble-like curves. It works best for titles or short runs of text.
